Hey guys,
My latest level, named Jewel Jubilee, has been released! It is a multiplayer-esque kind of level, with diamonds spread throughout the map.

A few days ago I stumbled across this awesome trailer of Marble Blast Mobile. It’s insane!
Watch it below..
Marble Blast Mobile, made with iTorque from GarageGames on Vimeo.
Video created by GarageGames/Luma Arcade.
Hey everyone,
If you haven’t heard the news yet, Marble Blast Mobile has been released (as of May 14th). I bought it as soon as I woke up on Friday and have been practicing since
Anyways, the game itself is a lot different than the other versions of the game (Gold, Platinum, Ultra, and Online) in terms of feel and movement. Although the controls are highly customizable, all in all I think Luma Arcade could have done a slightly better job in making the game easier to play. As it is, most of the levels are quite difficult due to the controls, and some are seriously out of place!
Anyways, the “gold time” has been replaced with three separate achievements: bronze, silver, and gold medal. Most of these are pretty well placed, and took me quite a while to achieve (I haven’t even beaten all the levels yet!).
Right now, there is only local wifi multiplayer, but I have been told that it is going global next update: you will be able to play people across the world over your internet connection. That’s certainly a plus.
The app itself looks very clean and has intuitive menus, although some of the buttons are just wack (the “PLAY /////////////////” button, for example).
Right now, I think the game is a little too difficult for the average player. It could just take a little getting used to, but most apps on the app store are meant to provide short, fun gaming – not necessarily something you have to work and work on just to be able to unlock all the levels. The game gets very frustrating at times.
Diagonal movement is really not possible through the controls, although I don’t think it would be something I would utilize anyways: I have enough trouble staying on the maps just moving forwards!
The levels are a mix of Marble Blast Ultra/Online and Gold levels, although many of them have changes to them, such as Bowl’s added challenges, and Core’s stripped-down map for more simplicity.
The level ordering is really misplaced, with very difficult levels such as Epicenter and some parts of Grand Finale (Tornado) placed earlier than simple levels like Sprawl and Thrill Ride.
Anyways, it is a decent app right now, obviously it has a lot to be worked on, but for the $5 it’s worth it. Go get it on the app store!

Hello everyone,
Sorry for the delays in pushing out the January pack and the complete 2008 pack. These should be finished and uploaded in less than a week.
Also, if you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for the upcoming MBO tournament! You can do this on either the Marble Blast Forums or the Instant Action forums, under the MBO section.

Hey all!
The december pack has been compiled and released. As always, you can view all levels included in the pack simply by clicking the ‘show/hide levels list’ link in the information about the pack. All this is found on the Level Packs page.
Anyways, this month we had a great number of levels, 43. That’s over one level released a day! Good job guys.
You can also download the pack directly right here: December Pack.zip.
A ’08 pack including all levels released in 2008 from the monthly level packs is being compiled right after I finish this blog post. Additionally, the CLA (Custom Level Archive) will be updated from this.
Enjoy!

I have just made a new constructor beginner tutorial that shows you how to install and configure it. As described in the video’s description:
A video tutorial on installing on configuring Torque Constructor for use with Marbleblast. Included is downloading the application, updating/patching to the latest version, importing textures, setting up default preferences, and more. It’s a must have for those interested in getting started with constructor.
Anyways, I highly recommend it. More like this will be coming in the next few weeks
You can watch it here on youtube. If you have the bandwidth for it, I very much suggest watching in HD; the picture is superb.

Hi all,
After months of long discussions and planning, myself and Ben (from PhilsEmpire) have finally pulled it all together and released Beta 1 of MarbleBlast Platinum 1.12. The lengthy part wasn’t getting it to work on mac; the installer was more time-consuming to create. Because there would literally have to be pages and pages of manual instructions, we decided to release it as it is with an installer instead. This greatly simplifies the installation process. I have received countless emails since 1.02 asking for clarifications on the instructions for install and issues people were having, so hopefully that flow of mail will start to diminish with this new release. One thing that myself and everyone included is depressed about is the lack of leaderboards on the Mac build. Don’t think we decided this; there was just nothing we could do because the exe left out much network support needed, and we can’t modify the exe.
Enough with all this talk, you can download it from Phil’s Empire in the Mac Downloads section.
One more thing: if you are using MarbleBlast Platinum for mac, please show your support and give comments on its iUseThis page. Just register an account, click the ‘iusethis’ button under the icon, and give a quick comment. By showing your support for it, it may enlighten others who do not have the game. It would be awesome if some of you guys did that.

P.S. Don’t be shy guys! You can reply to my blog posts!
Hey everyone,
This is just an announcement informing you of a site update (that has been in work for the last three months). I’m really happy with the results, some noticable new features include organizational changes (level packs now has it’s own page), content revisions, a feature on the Level Packs page to view all levels released each month, and a small forum being added. In addition to this, there were a voluminous amount of behind-the-scenes changes in the coding for productivity for myself and code revisions for W3C validation. It may not seem like a lot on the outside, but to me it is a big accomplishment.
Also, the three latest monthly packs have been released. I am sorry that the September and October pack weren’t released right away; it just wasn’t practical to release them without incorporating all the changes I have done. You may also notice a new favicon, it is pretty bad, but I like it.
Browse the site all you want, and don’t forget to download the latest monthly level packs!
